It is also one of the few target markets where a large share of the audience works in Chinese — which makes the Lunar New Year window a natural home fixture for a Shanghai company. Singapore's regulatory culture is exceptionally clear and exceptionally strict. A performance in a mall atrium or an indoor venue is signed off on structural loading, fire safety and egress, and the authority will read the numbers rather than the brochure.
What that means in practice: bring the section drawing, the load figures and the rigging plan to the first meeting. An act that is technically straightforward on paper moves fast here; an act that asks a venue to accept an undeclared point load does not move at all.
The upside is predictability. Once the technical file is accepted, the commercial path is short and the payment position is strong.

档期：春节是主场The calendar: Lunar New Year is the fixture
- Lunar New Year, January or February. The single strongest window for a Chinese-language programme in this market. Malls, integrated resorts and community events all programme to it, and a Shanghai company has a natural advantage in both language and idiom.
- Mid-Autumn and the Hungry Ghost period. Mid-Autumn is a second culturally aligned window. The Hungry Ghost month is traditionally avoided for festive programming, which changes what is bookable.
- National Day, 9 August. A fixed national date with widespread programming.
- The night race weekend, September or October. City-wide restrictions on road access and airspace. Any airborne act needs its permissions settled well in advance.
- School holidays and year-end drive family programming in June and November to December.
审批与安全要点Approvals and safety, in the order they bite
- Entertainment licensing. A public or arts entertainment licence is required for a public performance, and it is applied for by the Singapore-based organiser, not by the visiting act.
- Fire safety and egress. Matters for any act that changes the use of an atrium or blocks a route. This is usually decided by the venue's own safety office before any external filing.
- Structural loading. Motorcycle apparatus and suspended equipment need declared load figures and, in most venues, a signed structural check.
- Drones. Flight permits come from the civil aviation authority, and Singapore's controlled airspace and built-up area rules are strict. Weather and event-day restrictions can close a window at short notice.
- Noise and hours. Late-night programming in residential-adjacent venues is constrained.

Do you have a resident show in Singapore?
No. We do not hold a resident production in Singapore. Engagements are project-based: a season booking inside a mall or integrated resort, a festival or community event, or a corporate show.
Can you present the programme in Chinese?
Yes. Our team works in Chinese day to day, so a Chinese-language presentation is straightforward, and a bilingual version for a mixed audience is equally so. Most of the programme is non-verbal in any case.
Can the Wheel of Death play in a mall atrium?
Usually not. It needs 15 m of clear height over the wheel position plus rigging points for the support structure. Most atriums cannot give that once lighting trusses, signage and services are subtracted. The Globe of Death is the better atrium act.
What decides whether a drone show can happen?
The flight permit, not the fleet. Controlled airspace and built-up area rules are strict, and event-day restrictions can close a window at short notice. Airborne acts should be planned with a flexible date.
How far ahead should we plan?
Three months minimum, and six months or more for the Lunar New Year window, which is when the best sites are committed.
