Three things shape an Abu Dhabi booking. First, the buyer is institutional: destination operators on Yas Island, the exhibition and convention complex, sports-city venues, and the cultural institutions on Saadiyat. Second, programming is repeatable rather than one-off — a park does not want one gala evening, it wants a slot it can run several times a day for weeks. Third, the audience is family and school-group heavy, which sets the tone: bright, fast and wordless works better than a slow narrative build.
The practical consequence is that a single 90-minute evening show is rarely the right shape here. A shorter act, repeated, is usually what gets booked.

- October to April — the working window. Outdoor work, waterfront shows and park activations all sit here. Hotel rates and footfall peak in the same period, so site availability tightens early.
- May to September — indoor only. Rigged outdoor acts and flyboard work are not practical. This is the period to programme into air-conditioned volumes.
- Formula 1 weekend, late in the year. The whole city works to that date. Hotel capacity, road access and airspace all tighten, and any airborne act needs its permissions settled well ahead.
- Ramadan and the Eid holidays. Timings move and content is reviewed for cultural fit. Silent acts — both the Wheel of Death and the Globe of Death carry no dialogue — adapt most easily.
- UAE National Day, 2 December. Short, high-demand window with city-wide programming.

Performance permits in the emirate are normally applied for by the venue or the event organiser, through the emirate's culture and tourism authority, not by the visiting act. That is why we build the paperwork schedule into the planning stage with your local contact rather than treating it as an afterthought.
- Equipment movement. Rigging, wheels and spheres travel as professional equipment, typically under an ATA Carnet so that nothing is permanently imported.
- Air versus sea. Air freight into Abu Dhabi or Dubai is fast but charged on volume, and a death wheel is mostly air. Sea freight through Jebel Ali or Khalifa Port is far cheaper and slower by weeks.
- Road transfer. Oversized loads moving between emirates need their own permits and are often restricted to night hours.
- Insurance. Performance and third-party liability certificates, issued before load-in rather than on the day.

No. We do not hold a resident production in the emirate. Engagements are project-based: a licensed act inside an existing show, a season booking inside a park or arena, or a run operated jointly with a local partner.
Can a Wheel of Death play inside a theme park?
Usually not. Park stages are generally built for 8 to 12 m, and the wheel needs a genuine 15 m clear height over the wheel position once lighting and services are subtracted. We will check your section drawing before recommending it.
What run length suits a theme-park booking?
Three to four performances a day of 25 to 35 minutes over a season, rather than a single evening show. The Globe of Death and our acrobatic sets are built for that rhythm.
Which act works on the Corniche or at a beach club?
The flyboard water show. It needs open water or a pool of sufficient depth, jet-ski berths and shore power, and it is scheduled between October and April.
How early should approvals start?
For a fixed holiday or festival date, allow three to six months overall. Apparatus freight is the long pole if it moves by sea.
