The practical consequence: a proposal here is usually judged on how reliably it runs, how many times a day, and how it reads to a mixed family audience — not on artistic narrative. A repeatable 25 to 35 minute act outperforms a single 90 minute evening show in almost every Riyadh procurement.

• October to March — the working window. This is when the season programming runs and when outdoor work is physically possible, with daytime temperatures broadly workable and evening shows comfortable.
• May to September — indoor and nocturnal only. Outdoor rigged acts and flyboard work are not practical at the height of summer. If a summer date is fixed, the programming moves indoors or past sunset.
• Ramadan and the Eid holidays. Timings shift and content is reviewed. Wordless acts — the Wheel of Death and the Globe of Death both carry no dialogue and no lyrics — adapt most easily to a changed calendar.
• National Day, 23 September, and Founding Day, 22 February. Short, high-visibility windows with city-wide programming and heavy demand on the same venues.

Entertainment activity in the Kingdom is regulated through the General Entertainment Authority, with permits normally applied for by the local organiser or venue rather than by the visiting act. • Content review is real. Programmes are assessed for cultural fit. Our acts are deliberately built to travel: no dialogue, no lyrics and no narrative that depends on local reference. • Equipment movement. Rigging, wheels and spheres travel as professional equipment, normally under an ATA Carnet so nothing is permanently imported.
• Air versus sea. Air freight into Riyadh is quick but charged on volume, and a death wheel is mostly air. Sea freight through Dammam or Jeddah is far cheaper and slower by weeks.
• Insurance. Performance and third-party liability certificates, issued before load-in rather than on the day.
