报价由六个变量决定Six variables decide the number
Two drone shows of the same length can differ in cost several times over, because almost every enquiry changes at least two of these:
- Formation size. The number of aircraft flown at once. It is the most visible variable, but it is rarely the largest one.
- City, site and positioning. Getting the fleet, the ground equipment and the crew to the launch site — and the ground station set up on location — usually outweighs the aircraft themselves on a long-distance booking.
- Airspace approval. Every show needs a cleared flight volume. How long that takes and how much coordination it needs changes completely between one city and the next, and between inside and outside China.
- Whether the sequence is off the shelf or built from scratch. A stock festival theme and a brand mark built from a corporate identity are two different pieces of work.
- Running time and number of shows. One ten-minute finale, or the same sequence flown nightly for a season, against the same approval and positioning cost.
- Whether it is part of a bigger evening. Drone sequences are frequently run in sequence with fireworks, fountains and water screens, and that integration has its own cost shape.
三种买法，三种成本结构Three ways to buy, three cost shapes
- A standard themed sequence. An existing formation programme — festival and holiday themes, zodiac totems, a phoenix series — programmed to your date and site. The lightest commitment, and the fastest to clear because the sequence is already built.
- A custom sequence. Built from a city identity, a festival theme or a brand identity, previewed in 3D against your actual site before anything is committed. The work sits in the creative and programming stage, not in the hardware.
- A season or a run. The same fleet and crew flying repeatedly — nightly park programming, a festival run, or a multi-city tour. Cost per show falls sharply here, because approval, positioning and crew travel are paid once.
Cost does not scale linearly with aircraft count. Adding formation changes inside one engagement is usually far cheaper per minute than adding a second city, because the approval and the positioning are already covered.

A published figure for a drone show is almost always wrong for your case. Either it is a floor that makes every honest quote look like an increase, or it is a headline number built on assumptions your site does not meet — and the gap surfaces after you have committed to a date.
What we do instead: after a free site check we send a written budget breakdown against your actual city, date, site and formation, with every assumption stated line by line so your finance team can read it and challenge it.
If you already have a number to hit, send us the budget alongside the date and the city. We will tell you plainly what fits inside it, and what we would programme instead if it does not.

How much does a drone light show cost?
There is no single figure. A quote is built from the formation size, the city and site, the airspace approval, whether the sequence is off the shelf or custom, the running time and show count, and whether it is combined with fireworks or a water show. Send those and we return a written budget breakdown with the assumptions stated.
Is a bigger formation always more expensive?
Not proportionally. On a long-distance booking, approval, positioning and crew travel are the fixed part, and they do not change with the aircraft count. Adding formation changes inside one engagement is usually cheaper per minute than adding a second city.
What is normally not included in a price?
Site power and ground works, audience barriers and marshals, security and traffic management, freight and customs for overseas work, local taxes and withholding, and the cost of rescheduling after a weather cancellation.
Do you charge for the 3D preview?
No. The site check and the 3D simulation against your site come free of charge, and both come before any contract is discussed.
Can we use our own music or logo in the formation?
Yes. Custom sequences are built from a city identity, a festival theme or a brand identity, and the programme is music-synchronised with multi-stage transitions. The formation and the transitions are confirmed at the 3D preview stage.
Does the cost structure change outside China?
Yes. Inside China, airspace approval runs in the region of five to fifteen working days and the filing is handled end to end by us. Outside China the filing follows the rules of the destination country — some require an operator licence, some issue a per-event permit, some require both plus a notice to airmen — and freight and local coordination become a larger share of the total.
